Musings of An Old Man

by Brian K. Moore

No one is completely honest.

The difference between a white lie and a whopper is a matter of degree.

People who are generally honest lie about their gas mileage.

Truth is a virtue that can sometimes get you in trouble.

Consider the possible effect of truth when your wife asks, “Do I look fat in this dress?

Consider the effect of truth when you ask the car salesman, “Is that your lowest price?

Absolute truth could negate most negotiations.

If an excuse sounds phony, it probably is.

The truth is the best excuse. An honest excuse is believed.
